Talent Pool Terms
Version 1.0 · April 2026
Data Controller: MB Rinkis Darbą, Vilnius, Lithuania
1. What is the Talent Pool?
The Talent Pool is a RINKIS DARBĄ service that allows registered users (hereinafter "Candidates") to make their anonymized professional profile visible to registered employers and recruitment agencies (hereinafter "Employers"). This service operates under these terms, which supplement the general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Consent and Opt-Out
Participation in the Talent Pool is voluntary and based on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may opt out at any time in your account settings (/profile/settings). Upon opting out, your profile will no longer be visible to Employers within 24 hours. Connect requests you have already responded to remain active.
3. What Data is Visible to Employers?
When you participate in the Talent Pool, Employers see only your anonymized profile containing:
- Professional field and career function
- Seniority level
- Experience summary
- Skills (technical, domain, general, languages)
- Education level
- Years of experience (range)
- Preferred cities and region
- Remote work preference (if specified)
- Salary expectation (if specified)
Employers DO NOT see: Your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile, current or past employer names, CV text, or any other personally identifiable information.
4. Connect Requests
Employers can send you connect requests linked to a specific job listing from our database. Each request is valid for 14 days. Upon receiving a request, you may:
a) Accept — choose which contact details to share: email (always shared upon acceptance), phone number (optional), LinkedIn profile (optional). Upon acceptance, the Employer receives your chosen contact details and your message.
b) Decline — the Employer is informed that the request was declined but does not see any of your personal data. You may optionally provide a decline reason, which is presented to the Employer anonymously and in aggregate.
c) Not respond — after 14 days, the request automatically expires.
5. Abuse Protection
- The same Employer cannot send a repeat request for the same job listing after a decline or expiry.
- After a decline or expiry, a 30-day cooldown period applies before the same Employer can contact you regarding a different listing.
- Employer accounts are admin-approved and monitored for abuse.
6. Data Retention
- Your anonymized profile is visible as long as you participate in the Talent Pool.
- Connect request records (status, dates, decline reasons) are retained for 2 years after request closure or until account deletion — whichever comes first.
- For accepted requests, contact details transferred to the Employer become the Employer's responsibility under their own privacy policy.
7. Your Rights
In addition to the rights set out in our Privacy Policy, you have the right to:
- Opt out at any time without affecting other platform services
- Withdraw consent — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal
- Request export of your connect request history (included in GDPR data export at /profile/settings)
- Change which contact details are stored on your profile at any time
8. Changes
Material changes to these terms will be communicated via email and platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may opt out at any time.
